All vehicle rentals in Denton are governed by a comprehensive Rental Agreement that you will receive upon booking confirmation or at the time of vehicle collection. This document outlines the specific terms, conditions, insurance provisions, charges, and your responsibilities associated with the rental. In the event of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

Requirements for Vehicle Rental
- To hire a vehicle in Denton, you must be at least 21 years old, though age restrictions may differ depending on the vehicle type, with extra fees applicable for drivers under 25. A valid driving license suitable for the vehicle category is required, along with proof of identity and current address. 3. Reservations and Payments
- Reservations can be made via our website, over the phone, or directly at our Denton location. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. The complete payment, along with a security deposit, is usually required at the time of vehicle pickup. All prices are listed in British Pounds (£) and include applicable VAT. We accept major credit and debit cards, ensuring secure transactions through trusted payment providers.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of vehicle collection, please conduct a comprehensive inspection and report any pre-existing damage without delay. You will be responsible for any damage or loss up to the insurance excess amount unless you opt for additional coverage. Damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or violation of these Terms remains your responsibility, regardless of the insurance in place.
6. Modifications and Cancellations
Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice provided. For detailed information, please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or no-shows could incur additional charges.
Prohibited Activities

- The vehicle must not be used for illegal activities or purposes. This includes racing, off-roading, or any other unsafe driving practices. Transport of hazardous materials is prohibited. Sub-letting or permitting unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. The vehicle should only be used in accordance with its intended purpose, and passengers must not exceed the specified limits. Driving outside the agreed geographical area requires prior authorization.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and fees.
Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed under applicable law, Car Hire Denton will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will not exceed the amount you paid for your rental in the past 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury due to negligence or fraud.
